Een van de grootste sterktes van ChatGPT is zijn “geleerde creativiteit”. In tegenstelling tot sommige AI-oplossingen, gaat ChatGPT verder dan lege robotachtige concepten. Het is ook bedreven in creatieve uitspattingen, zoals het schrijven van muziek. Je kunt bijna elke soort liedje in de meeste grote muziekgenres schrijven. Over elk onderwerp:

Coderen en debuggen

Koen zegt nu vaker ChatGPT te gebruiken dan Google voor het opzoeken van dingetjes. “Hoe voeg ik een functie toe aan het moment dat een gebruiker een checkbox aanvinkt:”

…Overigens kun je ook gewoon Nederlands chatten met ChatGPT. Nu is Koen een echte programmeur. Wat als een niet-programmeur probeert een WordPress Plugin te maken met ChatGPT?

Maar vervolgens doet ie het niet. Is dus echt een hulpmiddel voor een programmeur, niet voor een leek om te hanessen.

(Beter mee) schrijven

ChatGPT heeft dus een paar uitdagingen:

• Kan af en toe onjuiste informatie genereren (“snelste weg van den helder naar terschelling” geeft als antwoord dat er een veerboot tussen zit – FOUT)
• Kan af en toe schadelijke instructies of bevooroordeelde inhoud produceren
• Beperkte kennis van de wereld en gebeurtenissen na 2021. (“schrijf een lijstje met beste gadgets van 2023”)

Verbinding maken met de lezer en de verhaallijn vasthouden issie ook niet zo goed in. Maar waar ik als professionele tekstschrijver ‘m wel voor heb leren waarderen, is wanneer ik wat bestaande tekst geef en dan vraag:

• Bedenk een titel
• Geef 10 alternatieve titels
• Maak een samenvatting
• Vertaal
• Herschrijf in de manier van Geenstijl.nl, Emerce.nl, Nu.nl
• Geef extra argumenten
• Haal spelfouten eruit
• Verkort

Uiteindelijk moet je daarna toch de tekst tweaken en fixen: AI is nog niet zover dat ik een andere baan moet zoeken.
